Painting workshop

I am having THE BEST TIME at this workshop!!! I wish someone had taught me this years ago - I would have been so happy! I don't have any good pictures yet. My flash really washed out the stuff I took in the class, and I haven't had time to work with it since getting home today (and the oils are still wet!). But here's the first shot out of the box, and I'll post some better views as I get them. Suffice it to say that I think Dominic Vignola is AWESOME!
This is the photo and the painting, from Velasquez's "Joseph's Bloody Coat".
Landscape (my first ever). This picture isn't that great...
Here's the class. My painting is the one in the foreground. There are about 16 of us in the class, and everyone is doing a great job!

Hi
I have seen Dominic's youtube video and think the method is great. How do I get info. on his colour palette. As in what colours and in what order? I have looked him up but cannot find info?

I just saw this, and can't respond to you directly for some reason! ANYWAY, he has a color chart that you can purchase that have squares of the color for each family on it. He uses tones, though, more than exact colors (which differ by manufacturer). But with the chart, you can open the tube and compare the tone and color to the square and be good. I do have a list of all the colors that he gave us in the workshop - It's 64 colors, though, so I won't post unless you fine this response! And I know he's working on a website and book, too...
